In general, we do not recommend burying black natural gas steel pipes unless the surface of the pipe is covered with an antioxidant protective coating or hot-dip galvanized treatment. The moisture-proof and durable properties of the steel pipe will be greatly improved. After adding coating protection, the pipe can be used underground for more than 15 years. But without protection, the pipes will quickly rust.
