On October 12, 2024, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the "2024 Top 500 China Private Enterprises" and "2024 Top 500 China Manufacturing Private Enterprises." Among them, Tianjin Yuantai Derun Steel Pipe Manufacturing Group Ltd. was both on the list with a good result of 2781405 million yuan, ranking 479th and 319th respectively.
Through the list of the top 500 China enterprises, we can not only see the pace and development resilience of China's large enterprises, but also see the gap between China's large enterprises and world-class large enterprises. We can also see the new actions and new responsibilities of our country's large enterprises in a complex and harsh external environment.
Judging from the list data, the 2024 top 500 China companies generally show a trend of slowing down in scale growth and improving economic benefits. The growth rate of operating income and net profit is better than that of the world's top 500 companies. At the same time, the characteristics of innovation-driven development have become more apparent. Endogenous development drivers have continued to accumulate, the conversion process of old and new driving forces has accelerated, industrial structure optimization has continued to advance, and development synergy has been enhanced.
According to statistics, among the world's top 500 companies in 2024, 125 mainland companies were shortlisted, including a total of 133 companies from Hong Kong and Taiwan. Automobile, parts and Internet companies performed well, and their rankings on the list have been greatly improved. Overall, in terms of operating income, 14 mainland Chinese companies rank first in the world, 13 companies rank second in the global industry, and 15 companies rank third in the global industry. The total number of the top three companies in the industry reaches 42. In the past five years, there have been an increase of 10 companies. In terms of net profit, 5 of my country's mainland companies rank first in the world, 10 companies rank second in the world, and 11 companies rank third in the world. The total number of the top three companies in the industry is 26, an increase of 3 in the past five years. Judging from the changing trend in the past five years, among the world's top 500 companies, large China companies have occupied an important position.
