ASTM A53 Standard Range ASTM A53 is a standard specification for steel pipes, black and hot-dip galvanized, welded and seamless.
ASTM A53 seamless steel pipe refers to the steel pipe grade of foreign standards, that is, the American standard grade. A53-F corresponds to the domestic q235 material, A53-A corresponds to the domestic 10# material, and A53-B corresponds to the domestic 20# material.
ASTM A53 seamless steel pipe is an American standard grade. A53-F corresponds to China's Q235 material, A53-A corresponds to China's 10# material, and A53-B corresponds to China's 20# material.
Production process
The manufacturing process of seamless steel pipes is divided into hot-rolled seamless pipes and cold-rolled seamless pipes.
1. Production process of hot-rolled seamless steel pipe: tube billet → heating → perforation → three-roller/skew rolling → tube removal → sizing → cooling → straightening → water pressure test → marking → seamless steel pipe with lever detection effect.
2. Production process of cold-drawn seamless steel pipe: tube billet → heating → perforation → upsetting → annealing → pickling → oiling → multiple cold drawing → tube billet → heat treatment → straightening → water pressure test → marking → storage.
Application
1. Construction: underground pipelines, groundwater, hot water transportation.
2. Mechanical processing, bearing sleeves, processing machinery parts, etc.
3. Electrical: gas transportation, hydropower fluid pipelines
4. Anti-static pipes for wind power plants, etc.
